Mill Cottage at Lower Slaughter, England
Spent a wonderful week in Lower Slaughter in the Cotswold area of England and I call this the Cordial Cottage because while I was sitting out in front of this house sketching, the owner Maggie came out and offered me a cordial. Wonderful memory of a fabulous little village.

Finca Del Nino Watercolor and Ink Painting
I painted this painting on my recent journey to Spain. I balanced on my 3 legged stool and sat inside the gate of the Finca (Finca means ranch in Spanish) under the blazing Spanish sun while drinking Sangria.

I just returned from a landscape painting workshop in Marshfield, VT with artist instructor Susan Abbott. We went to a different farm or nursery or country home to paint each day then had a wonderful lunch at her house. We stayed at Hollister Hill Farm B&B and had the most wonderful breakfasts and the gardens were fabulous as was the hospitality. I highly recommend both the workshop and the B&B.

Piccolina Adventures and Salento Bici Tours. Just returned from a fabulous 9 day bicycle tour of Puglia with our guides Carlo and Giulia from Salento Bici Tour. We cycled on rock wall lined country roads, dirt roads, Roman roads, cobblestones, and streets from Locorotondo to Santa Catarina to S. M. de Leuca, and ending in Lecce. They introduced us to the regional wine, olive oil, pastas as we visited museums, old underground olive presses, farms called "masserie", and the very famous and ancient "trulli" houses. It was a fabulous experience biking along the Adriatic and Ionian Seas as well as the hills of Puglia. These are sketches from my sketchbook!
